This is an Act to provide for the administration and maintenance of legal metrology technical regulations in order to promote fair trade and to protect public health and safety and the environment and to provide for matters connected therewith.

This Act amends the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004, so as to provide for the amendment and insertion of certain definitions, to delete the provisions dealing with district management areas, to provide that a rates policy must determine criteria for not only the increase but also for the decrease of rates.

A Bill to provide for the establishment of an Independent Electricity Management Operator as a public-private partnership entity which will provide an independent system operation to ensure safe, secure and efficient operation of the integrated power system and trading of electricity at wholesale level, and to allow metropolitan municipalities to purchase electricity directly from independent power producers; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

A Bill to amend the Divorce Act, 1979, to further regulate the division of assets and maintenance of parties in divorce proceedings in accordance with a judgment of the constitutional court; and the National Prosecuting Authority Act, 1998, so as to deal with aspects pertaining to the term of office of the national director of public prosecutions and the deputy national directors of public prosecutions in accordance with a judgment of the constitutional court and to provide for matters connected therewith.

An Act to amend the Financial Management of Parliament Act, 2009. It amends the provisions dealing with the oversight mechanism; amends provisions dealing with Parliament’s annual budget, appropriations and approvals; to amend the provisions dealing with donor funds. It aligns the provisions dealing with reporting and auditing with the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 and repeals certain sections of the Powers and Privileges Act, 1963.

This Act amends the Development Bank of Southern Africa Act, 1997. It provides the terminology in the Companies Act, 2008 so as to amend the grounds for appointment as a director on the board of the Bank, to amend the provisions regarding the issuing of certificates for issued shares, to enable the Minister to adjust the authorised share capital. It also adjusts the provision enabling the application to the bank of any provision of the Companies Act, 2008, the Banks Act, 1990, and any other appropriate legislation.

An Act to amend the National Water Act, 1998 and to provide for the appointment of the minister as the responsible authority for appeals relating to prospecting, exploration, mining or production activities. It also provides for the concurrence between the Minister, the Minister responsible for mineral resources and the Minister responsible for environmental affairs when amending provisions of the Agreement related to prospecting, exploration, mining or production activities.

An Act to appropriate money from the National Revenue Fund for the requirements of the State for the 2014/15 financial year; to prescribe conditions for the spending of funds withdrawn for the 2015/16 financial year before the commencement of the Appropriation Act for the 2015/16 financial year; and to provide for related matters.

An Act to provide for the equitable division of revenue raised nationally among the national, provincial and local spheres of government for the 2014/15 financial year, the determination of each province’s equitable share and allocations to provinces, local government and municipalities from national government’s share and the responsibilities of all three spheres pursuant to such division and allocations and to provide for related matters.

An Act that amends the Medicines and Related Substances Act, 1965 to provide for the objects and functions of the Authority; to provide for the composition, appointment of chairperson, vice-chairperson and members, disqualification of members, meetings and committees of the board of the authority, and to require the minister to consult with the pricing committee when prescribing acceptable and prohibited acts in relation to bonusing.

An Act to ensure access to justice and the realization of the right of a person to have legal representation as envisaged in the Constitution and to render or make legal aid and legal advice available. It provides for the independence and impartiality of Legal Aid South Africa.

An Act to amend the Attorneys Act, 1979. It addresses the disparities in relation to attorneys and candidate attorneys in the territories comprising the former Republics of Transkei, Bophuthatswana, Venda and Ciskei.

This is an Act to effect adjustments to the appropriation of money from the National Revenue Fund for the requirements of the State in respect of the 2014/15 financial year and to provide for matters incidental thereto.

This is an Act that amends the Banks Act, 1990 to enable the application of the provisions on arrangements and compromises in the Companies Act, 2008, to banks under curatorship, to expand the basis on which a curator may dispose of all or part of the business of a bank to enable an effective resolution of a bank under curatorship and to provide for the application of the Promotion of Administrative Justice Act, 2000, to any administrative action taken in terms of the Banks Act.

This Act amends the Maintenance Act, 1998 and further regulates the lodging of complaints relating to maintenance and the jurisdiction of maintenance courts; It also regulates the investigation of maintenance complaints, and the securing of witnesses for purposes of a maintenance enquiry.

This is an Act to amend the Auditing Profession Act, 2005, so as to provide for the regulation of candidate auditors and to update references to the Companies Act, 2008; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

This Act amends the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act, 2007, so as to ensure that children of certain ages are not held criminally liable for engaging in consensual sexual acts with each other and to give presiding officers a discretion in order to decide in individual cases whether the particulars of children should be included in the National Register for Sex Offenders or not.

This Act amends the following: the Income Tax Act, 1962, the Customs and Excise Act, 1964, the Value-Added Tax Act, 1991, the South African Revenue Service Act, 1997, the Securities Transfer Tax Administration Act, 2007, the Tax Administration Act, 2011, the Tax Administration Laws Amendment Act, 2012, the Tax Administration Laws Amendment Act, 2013, d the Customs Duty Act, 2014 and the Customs Control Act, 2014.

This is an Act to fix the rates of normal tax, to amend the Income Tax Act, 1962, so as to amend rates and monetary amounts. It also amends the Customs and Excise Act, 1964, so as to amend rates of duty in Schedule 1 to that Act and to provide for matters connected therewith.

This Act repeals the Tax on Retirements Funds Act, 1996. It amends the Income Tax Act, 1962, the Value-Added Tax Act, 1991, the Securities Transfer Tax Act, 2007, the Taxation Laws Amendment Act, 2011, the Employment Tax Incentive Act, 2013 and the Taxation Laws Amendment Act, 2013.
