This budget document outlines the economic and social progress, recent economic developments and outlook, fiscal policy and budget framework, preparation for devolution, expenditure priorities and resource allocation.

The consolidated financial statement for 2017/2018 is prepared in four parts: the consolidated fund, ministries department and agencies; state corporations, semi-autonomous government agencies and public funds; and county government.

This Report provides an overview of the health sector’s performance, achievements, key priorities and the resource requirements for the period 2018/19 – 2020/21. The document provides information on: the commission’s monitoring and enforcement powers; principles and procedures of monitoring and enforcement; commencement of the processes for monitoring and enforcement; licensees’ duty to prepare, submit and maintain reports.

An act to regulate the collection, retrieval, processing and storage of personal data. The bill contains provisions on: objects and principles of personal information protection; conferment of the commission of oversight and enforcement’s functions and powers; complaints, proceedings and settlements; powers & remedies; and provisions on delegated powers.

The regulation contains provisions on: citation and interpretation; powers of the commission to resolve dispute; initiation of proceedings; withdrawal of dispute; decision of the commission.

This project aims to create export competitiveness in the information technology & information technology enabled service sector by targeting 4 outputs: (1) Export strategy for the information technology & information technology enabled service sector developed and validated (2) Increased export capacity of selected exporting small to medium enterprises in the information technology & information technology enabled service sector (3) Improved capacities of the major sector TSI Kenya information and outsourcing Services association(KITOS) in providing information technology & information technology enabled service sector development support services to enterprises (4) Business linkages and technical partnerships/collaborations expanded. This presents the brief, summary, strategy, budget and evaluation framework of the project.

Convergence in communication technologies is leading to the future of telecommunication networks that deliver audio, video and data both on wireless and wired networks. In order to confer the benefits of VOIP to end users, the commission has adopted a regulatory framework that allows the use of IP based technologies like VOIP. The framework provides guidelines on the implementation & provision of VOIP services and also details on: definition of VOIP, technical implementation of VOIP and obligations to infrastructure & application service providers

The plan highlights the core values, mission and vision of information and communications technology authority, it presents the situation analysis; the strategy; strategic initiatives which details the projects, sub-projects & their project objectives and strategic implementation which shows financial implementation of each selected project and organizational structure.

To address the macro economic and social challenges and achieve transformation, this policy focuses on three areas of interest: (1) fostering interaction among different sector in the economy (2) Ensuring there are institutions and legal policy to power the national system of innovation (3) ensuring that goals are in alignment with vision 2030. The strategy further targets the following sectors to achieve national growth and development: Agricultural and Rural Development; Health and Life Services; Trade and Industry; Human Resource Development.

ICT capacity 5. Strong public private partnership (county and regional integration) 6. Content and application development 7. Employment and wealth creation 8. Mainstreaming of crosscutting issues.

This policy formulated to achieve an ICT driven Kenyan society is guided by four principles: infrastructure development, human resource development, stakeholder participation and appropriate policy & regulatory framework. This document outlines the challenges of ICT in national development, it also sets out the numerous policy objectives for: information technology, broadcasting, telecommunications, postal services, radio frequency spectrum, universal access, and institutional framework for policy implementation.
