Compulsory Treatment and Care for Victims of Gunshots Act

This Act provides for the compulsory treatment and care for victims of gunshots. Section 2 emphasizes that every person, including security agents shall render every possible assistance to any person with gunshot wounds and ensure that the person is taken to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment. Section 3 and 5 emphasize that hospital shall report to the nearest police station within two hours of commencement of treatment and the penalty for failure to report gunshot cases respectively.
