An Act to establish the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority and to define its functions; to provide for the establishment of government institutions of technical education, vocational and Entrepreneurship training; to constitute management boards for institutions established under the Act and provide for their composition; to regulate all institutions providing technical education, vocational and entrepreneurship training to repeal the Technical Education and Vocational Training Act 1972; and to provide for related matters.

It provides for the registration of engineering professionals, engineering units and engineering organisations and regulate their professional conduct; repeals the Engineering Institution of Zambia Act, 1992; and provides for related matters.

This document provides amendment of the curriculum and policy and policy statement of the national curriculum statement to provide for minimum outcomes and standards and a national process and procedure for the assessment of learner achievement. It also provides amendment to the national policy pertaining to the programme and promotion requirements grade R-12.

The policy stipulated in this document applies to public ordinary and special schools and those independent schools that offer the National Curriculum Statement Grades R – 12, which comprise; Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements for all approved subjects listed in this document; National policy pertaining to the programme and promotion requirements of the National Curriculum Statement Grades R – 12; and National Protocol for Assessment Grades R – 12.

These regulations apply to all school. The main objective is to provide minimum uniform norms and standards for public school infrastructure.

The purpose of this policy is to promote punctual and regular attendance at public schols and provide public schools and provincial education departments (PEDs) with standard procedures for recording, managing and monitoring learner attendance.

The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework to all provincial departments of education and governing bodies of public schools for developing the admission policy of the school. The document details the age requirement for admission to ordinary public schools, which applies uniformly in all provincial departments of education and ordinary public schools.

This policy has an overall objective to determine the total project expenditure per school and the value of assets transferred to custodians. The guidelines in this document apply to the Accelerated School Infrastructure Development Initiatives (ASIDI) programme, DBE Financial Services and Asset Management and Implementing Agents.

This Act is designed to amend the National Policy Act, 1996, the South African Schools Act, 1996, the Employment of Educators Act, 1998, the South African Council for Educators Act, 2000and the General and Further Education and Training Quality Assurance Act, 2001, so as to amend certain definitions and to provide for related matters.

This policy applies uniformly in all provincial education departments and at all public schools. Its purpose is to regulate how the department must determine school calendars for public schools in South Africa.

The main aims of the policy are to promote and strengthen the use of African languages by all learners in the school system by introducing learners incrementally to learning an African language from Grade 1 to 12 to ensure that all non-African home language speakers speak an African Language; and to strengthen the use of African languages at home language level.

This policy creates a framework that allows for the coordinated and sustainable development of education information systems. It aims to achieve two goals. The first is the goal of an education system where information systems enhance the day-to-day running of institutions and education departments, and provide better information to the public as a whole, thereby promoting accountability. The second is the goal of an education system where information systems yield increasingly valuable data and statistics needed for planning and monitoring purposes, which occurs at all levels from the individual institution to the national department of education.

The aim of this policy is to ensure achievement of national standards set by the revised national curriculum statement, policy guidelines for relevant and appropriate learning programmes will be developed at national level in collaboration with provinces. These guidelines will emphasize the principle of integrated learning and the achievement of an optimal relationship between integration across learning areas and conceptual progression from grade to grade.
