Endangered Species (Control of International Trade and Traffic) Act

This is an Act to provide for the conservation and management of Nigeria’s wild life and the protection of some of her endangered species in danger of extinction as a result of over‐exploitation, as required under certain international treaties to which Nigeria is a signatory. It provides the Prohibition of hunting of or trading in wild animals in the first schedule and regulation of export and import of species specified in the second schedule.
