Ethiopia’s climate resilient green economy’s vision is to attain a middle income status by 2025, leveraging on rapid economic growth and improved resilience to climate change. This serves as the Implementation strategy for the ministry of water, irrigation, and energy. The strategy banks on already existing plans of the ministry to delivering the core values of the climate resilient green economy. It seeks to harness the potentials of the sector in attaining sustainable agriculture, increased energy efficiency and conservation, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
