It outlines the concept of the methodology, its relevance for rural development, and the need to change from conventional top down to participatory. Part C constitutes appendices providing background information such as: Village Land Use Management Planning (VLUP) report structure, standards used in VLUP; and Extracts of Sectoral Regulations and Guidelines to be used in Detailed Village Land Use Management Planning in Step 6 of Part B.
