These regulations apply to users of distribution networks, embedded generator licensees, applications for embedded generation licences processed by the Commission and prospective embedded generation licensees, unless otherwise specified under these regulations. The objective of these regulations is to provide standard rules for embedded generation and distribution of electricity to ensure safe, secure and efficient electricity supply.

The objectives of this Act are to promote the exploration and exploitation of Petroleum resources, to promote the efficient, effective and sustainable development of operations within the Petroleum industry and to encourage both local and foreign investment in the Petroleum industry.

This is a bill for an Act to provide for the fiscal framework for the Petroleum industry and for other related matters. The document provides guidelines to establish a progressive fiscal framework that encourages substantial and progressive investment in the Petroleum industry balancing rewards with risk and enhancing revenues to the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is divided into six parts that contains: objectives, Petroleum income tax, deep offshore and frontier basin operations, Midstream Petroleum operation, Downstream Petroleum operation, and general provisions respectively.
